2.40 Osas/Enis nerfed ??? inb4 every1 classchange

Here is what will be modified:

 

  • Fossil will reduce the damage sustained instead of increasing Vitality.
  • The functioning of Duster will be somewhat revised: instead of hitting once for each Tofu on the field, it will have basic damage that will be increased for each Tofu on the field. So we keep the principle of more Tofu, the more the Duster hurts but the increase in damage will be more gradual.
  • And Crackler Punch Range is increased.

 

The summons:

  • The spell they cast if controlled (Tofu Transposition, Dragoheal, Gobball Attraction) now has a global cooldown shared between all the summons.
  • But suddenly its effects are increased.
  • Dragoheal, for example, heals more, but only one Wyrmling per turn can cast it.
  • Wyrmling damage is reduced while Gobball damage is increased.

 

 

In summary:  reduction of the power of summon "spam". Since one of their spells will in any case be casted only once, regardless of the number of summons on the field.

The bonus of vitality of Fossil also raised concern, in synergy with other classes in particular: it increases the heals of the “percentage of life heal”, and the damage of the classes like the Sacrier or personathelordofdofus the Masqueraider. A reduction in the damage sustained is less effective in the short term but synergizes better with the heals of the Osamodas which are for the most part based on his intelligence.

Finally, the damages of the summons of the Earth build are increased and its flexibility of use is increased by increasing the range of Crackler Punch to make it more competitive with the other elements of the Osamodas.

 

We keep an eye on the Osamodas, we do not consider that the work is finished after that but we wanted to make these small changes for February."

"For Duster: the values are subject to balancing for the moment so I have not given them (we will see in beta). The damage values will normally be higher with small number of Tofu, and lower with a lot of Tofus (*lower than it was before). But it's mostly that damage is now applied only once so that's how the damage calculated is reviewed. (The fixed damage is less taken into account)

 

And yes as I specified the Tofu Transposition as well as the Gobball Attraction will be improved also (more range for tofu, more range and attraction of more cells for the Gobball)"

It was fun while it lasted haha. We will need to wait and see how much duster will get changed (and maybe they will finally fix it not triggering mob effects lol). The cooldown on tofu swapping is a bigger nerf in my opinion, altough more range on it could make it still very good.

These modifications are aimed at reducing the possibility of causing heavy damage while caring for the Eniripsa and include a major modification to the Stimulating Word: it no longer increases the heals received by the target at all. The Eniripsa possesses the strongest healing spells in the game, and their effectiveness was increased by Stimulating Word which allowed him to heal very well without sacrificing some of the damage he does.
This should limit this possibility.

 

Then there are changes on both main damage spells: Thunderous Word now requires a line of sight but has increase in range, Puzzling Word has damage and heal reduction. These two spells stand out because they have very interesting effects (AP reduction, Power bonus/reduction) with flexibility of use and high damage values. They are slightly retouched, one spell on its flexibility, the other on its values, in order to be less central while remaining rather interesting due to their side effects.

 

Finally, there will be a modification on Turbulent Word: the spell no longer pushes back the enemies but its damage is increased and it is now lifesteal. It should thus be more usable, allowing the Air way to heal itself by causing damage."

Eniripsa job = healing job at top prioritity. It's so damn pointless sense to delete that buff healing. Reducing heal to 1.15 or 1.20 would be K.

actually i think it still gives +power on allies and -power on enemies, but the base dmg itself (and its base heals) is reduced

For agi osa, all the solos would still be possible. Duster isn't really essential unless there's a high time pressure like in dimensions or in PvP. The swap is a huge nerf (especially for placement-related achievements) but well, the class stays ridiculous^^

This doesn't sound that bad of a nerf, except for the tofu swapping, that was ridiculous anyway. It could be nice if it was limited to 2-3 times per turn, but that's incompatible with how they manage shared cooldowns.

 

Fossil reducing damage instead of giving HP is great, unless the reduction is too low (like 10% reduction). This is also an indirect nerf to sacrifical healing or whatever it was called in english, but still reasonable.

 

Global cooldown on wyrm's healing also means that it's single target, no more healing 2-3 targets with a single dragon.

 

Punch of the Crakler getting more range is also good, it was hard to use properly because you had to be so close.

The spells that will have global cooldown are the ones that only you can use when controlling summons.

 

The no-los of chance enis was interesting, sad to see them becoming less unique. Air lifesteal on the other hand, gives something extra to agi enis.

 

They should give the effect of raising heals over allies to some other secondary healer to give it some edge. Like Foggernauts.

I was just thinking the other day how much I liked the (to me) new Eni changes.  Ah well this isn't too bad, I'd rather they just take away the power increase from Puzzling though instead of reducing damage/heals

People already prefer to blitz enemies quickly rather than play a survival based game. The game is just balanced in favor of blitzing. What's the point of weakening the only viable focused healer in the game?

 

I'm not against the change to Enis, it's not even that bad, but it seems a bit unwarranted. Probably PvP related.

hate to break it to ya, but enis are/were op in pvm aswell... puzzling just does WAY too much damage. not to mention eni + eca in team play with stim meant eni didn't have to care about heals at all, +30% to the already crazy heal perception had is enough. 

Basically pulsar, without the min range or no-mp use requirement, but also heals, buffs allies, and debuffs.
