Sadida Str/Int advice needed

Recommended Posts

Is this build good ? Everyone told me that sadida class became weak ( I don't know why ) but I thought I should make one anyways. If this build is bad , could you recommend me any hybrid PvM build for any class ?

Maybe u should start by linking a set or whatever <_<

it is a dmg set for low lv. ( Robber , kannibal , etc ) and at higher lvls I want to go with anc set - no hat but instead of it Dora Bora , Dreggon daggers. At lv. 141 I want SO set without hat and cape instead of these , I'll still use the Dora Bora and as cape , I'll use PDC.

Since you say it's very low lvl, i guess you're starting a new character.

For PvM, a lot of people believe the usefulness of sadidas is very limited,

so most people would advise you to make another character instead of sadidas.

However sadi's are getting a revamp in 2015, which is meant to make them as viable as any other character,

so if you like the principles of sadi, just make one.

As for build, I'd argue that pure str is just better until at least SO set, for the simple reason that str provides good damage at any range,

while int only gives you a bit extra MP rape (which probably isn't needed at those levels, you have dolls for that)

And anyway chance and int go well together, so at later levels i'd argue to go int/cha or str, not str/int.

Or just omni :D

Okay , I'll just go with it as str. Thanks for the advice! ^_^

Like elegast said, stick to str for low lvl PvM. You'll be able to get out of a number of tricky situations with your dolls and by hitting from range. We're no Iops, we don't need to face the mobs head on. Use your dolls to heal/boost your mp, reduce the mobs' mp and block/steal their attention from you.

Later on, at around 150/160 you could probably start thinking of switching to another build. Pure Cha or Cha/Int are popular builds, especially for PvP but they can be quite useful in PvM as well. I would stay away from pure int or str/int though.

In endgame, I personally decided to go Omni. It gives you a ton of new ways to fight, which is a very liberating thing when you've been a single element for most of your game experience.

Hmm , how is it so far for you as a Sadida , with your class being nerfed ?

"being nerfed"...

I'm very happy with my Sadida. I can do all sorts of things. deal damage, reduce mp/ap, summon, get an mp buff, heal, use poison, hit without LoS, hit from distance, become or make an ally invulnerable for 2 turns, unbewitch, lock, hit with AoE, buff to summon more.

The problem we're facing is that there are a number of classes that excel in any one of these things. We're jack of all trades. Relics of the past where this used to be awesome. And then came the endgame content. Content in which specialists are needed. They need someone to heal them back to full health - the full team. They need someone who does INSANE damage, someone who reduces mp until all enemies can't even run home crying anymore, someone who can hit from even further range.

IMHO we weren't nerfed, rather we were forgotten while others got buffs while we've been trying to remind Ankama that we still exist.

Sadidas are great for soloing dungeons. We can solo Kralove (mind you, it takes 500-600 turns), we're beasts in PvP*. We're not wanted in endgame content though.

Don't get me wrong, I don't blame anyone for not wanting a Sadida in their Count/Nidas/Queen/Vortex runs. Those things are difficult and Ankama unfortunately designed them around specific classes and with very little margin for error or insufficient damage. The revamp we're getting next year could change all that though.

All in all, being a Sadida is interesting and in the long run worth dealing with the current issues we have.

I never understood the drama with sadida. They are by far my favorite class (after osamodas got ''nerfed''). With the Mp/Ap reduction, healing, poisons, umbewitchment spells they are like all class combined. Only downside I can think of is lowish damage but heck that ain't problem.

I like Sadidas, they are too few of them active at epic levels. They are a damage dealing class with a swiss army knife set of abilities.

Very well written! Thank you for making me go with a sadida. I'm sorry if I was a prick asking you that but I just wanted a solid answer like this.

people like to jump on the Sadida hate train without realizing how decent the class is as a jack of trades, especially in pvp instances however their use in pvm is still considerable considering they're well overdue for an overhaul. Certain members *cough* take this to extremes and the joke is about as lame as the Michael Jackson popcorn gif.

While I can't help you as to whether your build will be effective at such a low level, I can say the str/int build works quite well in endgame sadidas so i would assume its not a total failure at lower levels.. my advice is just play the class and get a feel as to whether you think its worth building that way or if you're already that build, does it satisfy you and would you continue playing it? If the answer to either is no then i suggest a different build (not class).

I used to play lvl 100ish pvp sadida back in the days pvp was actually a thing. Al though to be successful in pvp you need to invest $$$ or play class set ecaflip.

Back to topic: Set vice how much kamas do you have / do you have dofuses etc , or starting from scratch ?

(not for pvping ofc, unless you want to)

I don't have str items. I've got intell items until SO comes up. I've got some lv. 100 trophoes ( jacknapess + voyager and some others ). I've also got a masto set. The only dofus I own is a 60 wis cawwot dofus. If you could guide me from here , I'd be very grateful.

The real question what you can afford.

There are so many options to go so if you could provide me following info:

Level range

Kamas

Build

Str after I will change on cha/int

Gobbal set /mikrope set /blop set with fillers

Kitsoune set / Royal gobbal set with fillers

or just wisdom set till 100, with multiplier you can get pretty high level by just using prims to teleport around for explorating achievements

After lvl 100 use anc set with Axel or custom sets (CHA/STR: snailmet set+ precious set with fillers) (CHA/INT: punkin' set with limbo wand and fillers)

till you can equip your royal mastogob set.

Idk random things to reminisce on. Sorry for the topic take over, good luck on your Sadida, masto set should be nice, and don't forget notwithstanding rings :D Good wis with crits/%dmg and nice vit for a ring of that level.
