I do think they need to drop the surrender timer to 15:00 from 20:00 with this new league of snowballs meta.

Thinking about trying out rageblade nautilus just for the hilarity of him looking like he's having a seizure.

Guinsoos irelia/jax are making the game in general a lot less fun to play at the moment, you'd think they'd have some sort of actual fix by now.

Loving the new AD meta with a lot of AD top/mid teams, been having a lot of fun with Malph jungle.

I like building essence reaver > rapidfire cannon > IE then whatever using the crit keystone as sustain. First time playing ranked 5's with an all-dofus team, was a lot of fun :D People talk a lot about Graves being super-powerful now but tbh Cait is an absolute beast at the moment, new items really work well for her.

C9 had 3 good games in a 6-game group stage, they'll more than likely make it out of groups but I think they'll fall apart as soon as it progresses to Bo3's since they've basically run the same comp/strat in every game so far. Fnatic clearly didn't respect them and paid for it but I can see them going 3-0 next week now they've got sufficient motivation, they're just so much more diverse than iG/AHQ/C9. No idea why people keep referring to OG as an underdog team, given their line-up and Peke's propensity to shit on people in major competition they were always going to be a strong team. CLG is the surprise for me, they've actually done really well so far even given their easier group. I'd bet on C9 losing to iG/FNC next week but picking up a win vs AHQ with FNC going 3-0 to make it C9 and FNC progressing from the group. If there's one thing that's become evident since MSI it's that Fnatic is phenomenal when it comes to adapting quickly to opponents and countering their strengths, C9 is a one-trick pony with the 1-3-1 tower-push strat and FNC/iG are both packed with enough quality to overcome it. Besides incarnation there isn't really a single individual player on the team who is world-class.

Korean strategy is more focused on objectives and wave control, only one of these is really viable early so excepting the 3-1-1 early side-lane turret you don't see nearly the level of action you do in LPL/EU matches.

Korean play is much better known for being defensive and fairly predictable, it's China and EU which are predominantly more aggressive, particularly early-game. Not watched a huge amount of LPL but the LCK commentators/players/coaches I've seen credit EU for being an innovative region when it comes to new meta picks and experimentation in a competitive setting. Most likely because the skill gap between the top teams and the mid-pack is so much greater than it is in LCK so teams like FNC/Origen/H2K can get away with taking risks more. But yeah most Korean teams don't, by and large, play more aggressive than most EU teams. LPL is a whole different story since they're very aggressive early but it's really not common to see Korean teams take huge risks before 15-20mins, can't say the same for a lot of EU teams. Korea and China are kinda chalk and cheese when it comes to strategy, though I guess the influx of Korean players into some of the top Chinese teams could have muted this somewhat.

For me, CLG just has a much stronger roster in terms of individual ability. Bjerg has pretty much always been overrated and WT has never been particularly good. Lustboy is good but a good supp can't have as much impact without a competent ADC to play around. For me at least Zion has been one of the few NA players I've really rated highly for the last couple of seasons and Xmithie seems to be getting better and better as time goes by.

Remember when people thought Rekkles was a passive ADC who played safe and avoided dying at the expense of not contributing to teamfights? Those were the days... His Tristana in game 3 vs OG was just fucking sickening, so good to see him playing on a competent team again and getting to really showcase his talent.
