    Tooooootal garbage. Given the outcry they really should have aborted this abomination, but i guess they're too proud to admit they wasted so many dev hours for this result,or something . I stayed away from dofus the past week,mainly out of necessity, but i don't really know what the point of playing this weekend is, when they're just going to delete my character anyway.

    Yeah I did too for a moment. That said.. I played around for a bit. Lots of little extra effects, damage is both too high and too low.. there are glaring problems like.. not being able to steal enough hp, but at the same time, you have a healing spell.. which is just anti-sacrier and stupid. With having more range, you could just give those spells hp steal, and not have a self-healing spell, for instance. edit: I'm just going to take a break from testing and this bullshit, wait until they fix some of the spells, and play pokemon in the meantime. >: I

    No, sacs are just bugged on beta. I had to log a different account, change the character to a sacrier, in order to test out the spells. :P

    It's hard to test when you don't have any spells points, so yeah.. You know, what with map manipulation spells like assault, transposition, attraction, and that new bling like attack all dealing damage to targets, sacs are worse off than before at endgame. Addressing endgame dungeons which have trigger effects and punishing melee attacks was the entire point of this stupid revamp (because otherwise sacs were amazing) and I feel this is backwards if not as bad. On top of that, it's just worse before endgame too, as you can't take on mobs like you used to. :( So altogether, if you set aside that this doesn't feel like a sac anymore, it's just a worse class.

    Well..it's a higher AP cost. 25% more costly, does +13/16 equate to at least a 25% base increase? I'm not on dofus and I haven't played a cra in while. Also two explosives at lower base damage=/=one stronger explosive+frozen arrow. But yes, you have the right attitude, this -could- be an okay change. :) Oh and 90 base, but with 2 different elements. You can't get as much int/chance as when you go full chance or full int...
  9. With the new way wisdom works with idols/challenges, wouldn't it not really be as worth it to bother with that anyway? Seems to be a patch to a problem that won't exist anymore.. or in the same way. Or did I just misunderstand? o-o I never did that much with idols or OP team comps myself.. I main(ed) a Sacrier without a panda/iop/eni/enu.

    In my experience I've had my share of int cras in Kolossium. When you take into account aoe, it definitely could be game-changing. We'll have to see how much the damage is buffed by.
  11. Just putting this out there: you can disagree, be critical about, or joke about something, anything, without it constituting hate, or "posting hate".
  12. Yeah that's really crappy... Explosive was just fine and is being changed for that minority of people who used it a specific way... They had better slightly buff magic arrow and that one weak water attack to make up for it as well. More base damage doesn't make up for it alone, being able to cast twice meant you counted +damage twice.

    Thanks! Oh no, words! Or maybe people do bad things because they're bad. Also, you forgot a period at the end of your sentence... I can be such a punctuation Nazi. How lame of me. Really though, just sharing my opinion. The Imps rules can be w/e they are, I just personally think it's too much, and if anything is a detriment to exchanging ideas for the better. :)

    Yes, I do realize. :D But you misunderstand me. I didn't say that the "revamp" was, on its own, weak or anything. I said they got the class wrong. :P I'm sure they could balance the strength of the revamp fine eventually, but they still got it wrong. T_T It's not quite the same class, and it doesn't really address the issues Sacs had at (only) endgame. Also, the changes to Utilty spells like attraction and Transposition actually make them worse (at endgame once more).

    Sacrier class spell variant should return your stats and spells to pre-revamp for the duration of the fight. : ----)
  18. So far, seems like they haven't changed a thing with the sacrier update since they announced things. Still the same bullshit. They showed some numbers: states give 20% extra vit? and 20% less damage taken when under 50%, -20% vit but +2mp and unlockable under 50% hp, and 20% bonus damage taken but deal 20% bonus damage, increasing when below 50%. Spells like the fire attacks, attraction and trans deal quite a bit of damage to the caster... Certain Sacrier players (not me or any international players as far as I know) chosen to discuss this revamp. The level 200+ update is being pushed back, spell levels are being kept for now etc. The first dungeon shown is inside the sarlaac's stomach of a big worm. The mobs are based on worms, tremors, and look well-made. The boss is part of the dungeon's body, neat stuff. Sacrier confirmed to have Doom spell. Next area(lvl 200) is in a pyramid, Egypt/Stargate inspired. Mobs have teleportations and many effects. The boss looks nice, and is accompanied by minibosses. Four new sets, 2 lvl 170 and 2 lvl 200. In addition, two new lvl 200 weapons, and 4 new lvl 200 items. A level 200 chance/agi set/crit set, and a strength/fire/crit res set. The remaining four items each correspond to just one element. There's a strength/agi axe with a double steal, and an int/chance wand. HUGE WISDOM LEECH NERF. Wisdom still gives bonus experience but: doesn't affect the extra exp from challenges and idols and stars on mobs. MAJOR/MINOR CRA CHANGE. Global cooldown on some cra spells (like aoe ones?), targeted at that one strategy involving four cras or whatever. But in return, these spells are buffed (slow down arrow now removes 3ap). New interface that lets you choose between which Fatal Blows you're using. You can turn them on and off with a single click. Very neat. New system that lets you re-challenge old quest fights you've already completed. GO to Meriana's hut and feel the 'nostalgia'. Heroic/Epic Server change concerning Kolossium. Price halved for things you can buy with Kolossokens. Exchange rate for doploons/kolossokens 1:1.

    Actually, I think you can cancel a state by recasting it, so I think it will be more like Drunk state, or the Osa states. But the issue is while those states make sense for those classes (masq/osa/panda), it makes no sense on a Sacrier. It ruins the identity and image of the class, which is supposed to be fairly down to earth and simple and reliable.

    I totally understand your point, but this is a little different. I honestly don't want to get on beta because I think the class as it is is dead, and knowing ankama, they are not going to change anything that actually matters. I will anyway though, and fight this until the end, but I think come december I won't have a sacrier anymore. I've been playing this since beta, if I was one to pass judgement early and ragequit, I wouldn't be here today. I've taken breaks/left the game for a year at a time just from lack of interest, but never because of a revamp or change to the game. :P

    I mean.. again, they don't like to change their minds on things.. or to scrap things they already drew. Same people that for years now, have made less original art, and parodied environments and characters more and more. I hate to go back to Wakfu, but the visual changes they added to sacriers when low on HP were actually a lot better. In wakfu, you had their tattoos basically come alive as ghostly arms when they were low on HP, increasing their damage/lock. If you just look at sacriers in artwork, I don't see why they wouldn't do that in dofus, but with blood instead. UGH, honestly, if they just replaced sacriers with their wakfu equivalent from about a year or two ago, I'd be complaining so much less. XD

    I know right? Secondary effects in general, like movement, -ap/mp, etc, screwed over a lot of spells, which is why the meta of specialists appeared at endgame. Classes that could deal pure damage - iop/rogue/cra coupled with a lot of map control - enu/panda.

    I can try. 1)For starters, this isn't really a sacrier anymore. The revamp didn't address any issues Sacriers faced at endgame (and believe me, except for lvl 200+ dungeons, sacriers are amazing) and didn't even attempt to fix them. It wasn't too hard, I've made and seen many really excellent suggestions here and on the OF. 2)This revamp doesn't give more versatility. There is nothing this revamp does that gives the class any new aspect, any new gameplay, which I'm okay with actually, but it's the way it was done. Don't let the new punishments and attacks fool you, there is nothing the new sac does that the current one cannot in some other form. 3)Earth branch removed. Reduced versatility in gear, weapons, and monsters it can face well. Completely unnecessary. 4)Punishments are ugly as fuck. And I know ankama is going to want to keep them, because they don't want it to go to waste. The voyager punishment makes absolutely no sense for a sacrier to even have. complete bullshit. OH, and one more thing.. changing the softcaps, which I said I could sorta understand in my post, simply removes what made this class unique. : I
