    Because this is only a segment of the patchnote. Not only do we not have the complete values, but we also haven't seen the damages, or how it'll pan out on the beta test. Voicing discontentment due to changes we perceives as bad is fine, but doing so while we only have a fragment of the puzzle is not only pointless, but childish. The patchnote excerpt we've here are not only not definitive, but weren't meant to be discussed in deep balance. They've got an idea, they're trying to apply it, we might as well wait for the entire log to see how to piece of the puzzle fit.

    actually you HAVE to speak english in public chats. those big red warnings in the chat? they're not suggestions.i disagree with that they should be able too. nothing more annoying then being at a zaap and two people are just going 'JAJAJAJAJA" and shit like that. its so asocial. if you want to talk to friends in your native language pm/form a group/form a guild. except that the server language is english. being called a noob for not speaking the server language, and being called a noob for not speaking someone elses language is a big difference.

    Actually Rushu is flooded with French, Spanish, Port, Russian, Czech speaking people, and I really dislike it. I don't know if they got the memo or not, but my server is ENGLISH speaking and I wish Ankama would back up their warnings of sanctions for speaking any other languages in general chat (As I couldn't care less what they speak when I can't see it). They disregard those rules, are primarily scammers from what I can tell and my ignore/enemy list doesn't allow 10,000+ people so I can;t just do that to everyone of them that I see :P

    Cmon morg, you can do better than this. Saying xelors can do anything after saying we can't PvM must be meant to make me laugh right? Oh boo fucking hoo, yes I stood proudly with my rank10 wings, at a zaap, because who the fuck would want a xelor to pvm? Your 'shitty' class is welcome to just about 100% of the game content other than 1 on 1 pvp, would you like to swap? If you'd been guildies with me when I actually played this game I'm sure you would've heard me begging for this swap. 1vs1 pvp is a load of shit. Easy to achieve anything through strokens? Yes sure if you decide to play like an arsehole 24/7 scavenging for targets that 95% of the time stand no chance against you, what an enjoyable place to be cornered into. I'm sure I don't speak just for myself when I say, PLEASE rape our pvp abilities so people will stop bitching but in turn make us a viable(not OP) PVM class. Give us damage, give us mp rape, give us unbewitching, give us map manipuation, real buffs to allies, anything really.

    Your potion is not a finished product, it is only useful as a resource that is used in the making of trophies. A level 100 shield's smith service is also a resource is only useful as a resource that is used in the making of trophies (and shields). Since they are both resources in the making of the same item (and useless without the remaining resources), we can make an analogy between your potion and a shield smith. I'll repeat your point using the shield smith service instead of your potion. The point is, when you use the service of a level 100 shield smith, you are `using' the materials that the shield smith already invested in making his level 100 shield smith product. This is similar to the materials you spent on making your potion. You bemoan that you have to pay for the three crafts, even though the first two were needed to make the last one. Yet I hear no complaints about the prices of the resources you used to make the minor and regular trophies, even though you will never use them. Why do you demand free crafts for these trophies, but not free pebbles, potions and alloys? Maybe what you should explain to us is how the level 100 shield smith service resource is fundamentally different from other resources such as a grove essence potion.

    I quite like a lot of the changes mentioned so far. The unbewitch changes make a lot of sense to me, when you think about spell power it makes sense that a spell that's castable at least once a turn shouldn't be able to completely remove a powerful spell that has a long duration and a rather large cooldown. Panda changes look like fun for the most part, the limit on picking up and throwing is a bit annoying, but as a whole it will make for a lot more versatile pandas. Can't really comment on the reflects, doesn't seem like a big deal to me, but I never really make use of them, so might hurt those that do. That's my two cents as it stands at the moment, good luck everyone :) -Elm

    Kinda reminds you of the dead time after Otomai was released, doesn't it? Lots of promises for new content (in this case Ep.3) yet all we see is builds getting raped. Wow, really happy to see this. After reading some of these retarded changes I was really expecting a nerf to Cra And were gonna be seeing this kinda changes every 3 months? Great, so now were gonna have 4-times a year to hope we don't get fucked out of our class.

    Seriously, the no-luck-basis policy they're trying to implement would make this game epicly boring. Doesn't anyone else appreciate that moment when you clench your teeth hoping Stain/Ghostly crits if you're casting or doesn't crit when you're getting targeted? I quite like that feeling D: They already butchered that for 2~3AP crit Stim. What's next, 1/2 actually being crit this turn, not crit next turn? BOOOORIIIIIIIING

    While not quite something to fuss about, they are adding methods to boost permanant damage taken. It can have a rather high impact having Blunderbuss, the new Reflex, Sac Punishments (will become super dangerous to sacs in certain fights), the basic 10% loss.. I think there's one more spell. Something hovering around 50-70% of the hit going to perma damage will be pretty nasty. It's really annoying if you've ever made the mistake of letting Fuji and a yomi hit a character in the same turn. :s

    Why keep cool over such drastic game changing spells? UNbewitch has been remove all buff/debuff since game came out xelorS have been ap rape since they came out panDa have been support/team since they came out (giving them 45 more spell points takes away from the nerf in my opinion XD ) this is a bad change all round :(

    Monsters Like tot who gain ap every turn and its 13turns ... You will never win that fight because when he gets 15 ap, everyone healed to full hp. Realy Realy nice ankama... And for those monsters buffs who is Infinite? just a example, %dmg gained by yokai and maho ghost when get hit.... Ankama must make it 1 turn on non critical, and full unbewitch on critical... And... will ghostly unbewitch the monster first and then dmg? if yes, ougaa gonna be so easy without hallucination, still need some ougaads hehe. i thinking here, what gonna happen with panda class set, maybe now i can make my panda chance or str and leave the full support build.

    Ghostly should remove 2 turns from buffs. Stim should be 4 turns duration. I FIXED IT GUISE. ---------- I'm not even going to talk about the Xelor nerfs. <_< Actually, I will. This update finally kills the old reflect tank Wisdom Xelor. Only took them, what, 4 years (starting from whenever they made Counter non-infinite)? So now the Wisdom Xelor is an AP removal machine, right? Except he can't really do that to monsters because Ankama are dicks and gave the bosses 15 AP and 150 resist. They already nerfed Loss of Motivation to 4 stacks (meaning you can shave, at most, 120 Wisdom from a given monster, 280 when combined with Dial, which is also 4 stacks max, TOTAL, multiple Xelors doesn't give an advantage anymore, which is fucking terrible. 150 - 28 = 122. OH SO MUCH EASIER). So for anyone thinking of using a Wisdom Xelor for Frigost: Don't bother, they won't even be tanks anymore, which was the only real advantage to Wisdom in pvm in the first place (it certainly wasn't AP removal!). To be fair, having that sort of dichotomous role was frustrating. AP removal for PvP, but tanking for PvM... Well, it's time for Ankama to make AP removal actually viable in high-end PvM. It's past time, actually. There's no sense in monsters having double to triple the Wisdom of most players (besides Wisdom Xelors). With the change to Reflects, I don't see them being leveled much by anyone (including me, unless they deal back more than 50 something damage...), meaning we'll get more spell points for attacks. Too bad they all have casting restrictions. No point in 1/2 Clock either, though I think we all saw this one coming. The 1/40 rate isn't much consolation. I do understand them finally making all protection spells level-based. But all this is really doing is making Thorn and Xelor reflects into more spells that no one will level (like tree of life! Show of hands who has that six'd?). Well, newbies might level them. OMG so good w mi prespic set!!!one11! 3 AP Dial is... meh. I won't be using Reflects anyway so that gives me some spare AP on turn 1 I guess. More hp is nice, though it isn't of much use except as Tree knockoff in pvm. The lower recasting time is pretty cool given that, however. I play with a sadi friend a lot, so... trees and dials everywhere! Loss of Motivation requiring line of sight: Not surprised, I myself suggested that last year on the Official Forums. No minimum range, but with the nerf to LoM stacking, just needing line of sight is probably plenty. Gravity on mummy... At least it only lasts 2 turns now. :mellow: What this update needs: Damage buff for Shriveling. Hand to 3 AP instead of 4. I mean, really. If the reflects were buffed lots (meaning, 100+ damage each on a level 200 guy) people might still level them. They'll probably reflect about 60 knowing Ankama though. So, on the whole, I'll be going from mostly useless in PvM to completely useless in PvM. Oh, well. I guess I need to hurry up making that AP removal gear, since I'll still be good in PvP--oh wait. My wishlist: - BP becomes an AoE, ranged, ally buff that gives +AP resist, no reflects (think, Aqueous Armor but no shielding) - Counter reflects level% (60% at level 6) of damage back to enemies for 1 turns, 6 turn cd. Takes effect before receiving damage (bounce back that Wrath, pew pew), doesn't reduce damage. - Thorn reflects level/2% damage (30% at 6) back to enemies for 1 turn, 6 turn cd (HALF AS GOOD AS COUNTER instead of better, goddammit Stim.)

    I am a bit confused, how would a cast limit on hand make leekpie a better spell it surely will be as situational as it is now without cast limit ? Overall I think these alterations to xelor spells are justified and do rebalance the class quite well.

    Crafters gone wild? Personally I would not bother to bring my lazy butt to workshop (no matter what profession) for lousy 50kk. And when I ask for a crafter myself, I tip a crafter with at least 100kk.
