Hey Imps Users. Some of you might have seen that recently, Our Fearless Leader, Blueballs himself, Kyek got hacked... in real life. Someone swiped his identity by getting a picture of the magnetic strip on his card while he was out in the IRL and cleaned him out liek whoah. We currently have funds to pay for the Imps hosting for this month, but some of the mods would like to help work things out so Kyek doesn't have to dip into his own stressed resources to keep our community site going. Please understand that this is on the mods initiative, Kyek didn't ask anyone to do this for him!

If you can't afford to donate, we understand. We don't want anyone else to go broke trying to help Imps! But if you've been thinking about donating but just haven't gotten around to it, please consider donating now. I believe that the Google rules state that others can mention the ads thing, but Kyek cannot do it himself.

I guess the logic is that he can't control what others post to his site, but if he does it, he's intentionally promoting the ads against the rules. But! Kyek, just let me know, I'll edit it out.

Ye^^' though I was thinking Kyek could have just pmed some member of Imps to make a post and mention clicking the adds in order to make sure people notice and he wasn't the one promoting it XD

And you might think "I only have a couple of dollars, that won't make a difference," but there's where you'd be wrong. Every little bit seriously helps. And since I'm not a mod and not Kyek I think I'm safe in saying if you decide to click on some ads, in order for it to count, you actually have to let the ad load, and then visit a couple of pages within the ad's site. Don't go nuts, visit a couple each time you come to Imps. It all adds up.

I challenge everyone to do something special for Imps to encourage more donating. Your efforts bring entertainment and joy the world over, Imps is for all of us, and it's going to take all of us to keep it going. Put some art up for auction, videotape yourself dancing to Duran Duran, do it to generate interest in this thread and to bring more eyes to it.
