Working good in Chrome and Edge, in Firefox it needs a little fix.

Update: Added Farmer's resources 100%. to both versions.

@Scour and everybody else i'm aware of this.

Basically my site is behind CloudFlare technlogoy. It can speed up the website for you but while developing it's a pain in the ***.

I turned it off, but it takes several hours to take effect.

The problem was/is that your browser is loading the cached version of my page/scripts so you don't see my changes. Usually a realod is enough ( when CloudFlare is off ), if not you have to clear the cache for my website :)

Update:

  • Make an option to select all the resources from the same type at once

done: 02/04/2016 Ctrl+Click on the profession icon will load all his resources (pretty heavy at the moment, could freeze the browser for a couple of seconds). Alt+Click on the profession icon will unload all his selected resources.

  • When hovering a resource the full name &/or informations should be displayed :

Update:

  • some fixes ( now the map is also wroking on Safari, still some visual bugs)
  • You can now click on monsters: a new window will open with the ankama official bestiary.

@Aurameroz sure you can help! If you have any opinion or suggestion don't hesitate and leave a feedback here.

If you are good at image editing let me know, in the first post i wrote that i need help with icons.

If you have TONS of free time and Treasure hunting's experience you can help with my TreasureHunting map. I need you to Associate the clue name to the img i provide ( hundreds of img ) .

I also started considering a little rewrite. I think i can reach a point where it doesn't matter how many resource are beeing displayed becasue the map will alwais move at FULL SPEED without a single frame drop or lag :D

Update: the fast version is now up http://mavvo.altervista.org/dofus/map.html it's still in beta.

The old version is still up at http://mavvo.altervista.org/dofus/Old/map.html.

You can show and hide markers, drag around the map without the lag of the old map!

I still have to fix some minor glitches. But if you encounter any bug please report it here !

Update:

Fixed some annoying bugs of the new version

  • after dragging around the map no unwanted popup will open
  • when clicking over a marker the monster pannel will not open

New: 71c1d8900f.jpg In the popup you will now read the map coords and sub area name!

Edit: oups forgot to mention that now all Hints ( the filters ) on the map are also translated.

Edit2: ( so i don't spam the thread):

Update 21/04/16:fc3609e2df.jpgif you click on the map while holding ctrl you will add a yellow marker.

In the future i will add:

  • the option to add a note on each marker
  • a button on the menu ( just like the other on/off resource buttons)
  • the option to save them locally so every time you come back to the map they are still there

Update 22/04/16: fix unusable map on Retina and HighPixelDensity screens (like smarthphones )

Update 26/04/16: rewrote part of the code. I hope i didn't break anytthing.

I notice you've set it up so that the name of each monster that pops up links directly the Dofus main site bestiary - is there any way you could instead have them link to the Dofus wiki? I realize it's not a hugely important change, but the official bestiary just falls severely short of the player-made one.

I'd like to make the monster's link to point @ wiki pages.

When i made the monster's link i saw that the Dofus encyclopedia was alwais consistent and i could "easily" link the pages with the data in my possession. Another thing that i was going to support when i made the links is the multilanguage feature that is already available in the Dofus encyclopedia.

Said so i'll try to add an extra link to the wiki pages as a little icon next to each monsters, let me see what i can do.

P.s I'm not sure it's possible to make the wiki links support also the others languages since different wiki language versions are missing many many pages ( or i'm not good enough to find them, it's hard for me to navigate the wiki in other languages ) so they will probably alwais link the En versions.
