As this is the beta, this changelog is subject to change before the final release. Massive thanks to our volunteer translators. Without them, we would not have this changelog ready today. Thank you times infinity!

Trophies:

  • More than 70 new Trophies are now available to craft. They have more powerful bonuses than the Trophies that are currently available, but to balance their bonuses, they also have negative stats. These Trophies will allow players greater personalization and specialization when building their characters. A devblog about these trophies will be available later.
  • The bonuses for the following trophies have been decreased:
    • Locker (minor, normal, major)
    • Escapist (minor, normal, major)
    • Friction (minor, normal, major)
    • Oppressor (minor, normal, major)

Dungeons:

  • Fixed resistance to pushback damage bonuses have been increased for the following monsters: Kimbo, Silf the Bherb, Gourlo the Terrible, and Sphincter Cell.
  • The pushback damage of the Celestial Bearbarian has been increased.

Incarnations:

  • The critical hit of the level 6 "Furrow" spell of the Swashbuckling Bandit has been corrected.

Achievements:

  • The descriptions of the achievements for Gourlo the Terrible have been corrected.
  • The word "team" is now included in the description of all achievements that require challenges like "Tight" or "Hermit"

Global Balancing:

  • The basic close combat (punch) of all class has been updated, it is now 3 AP and is less random.
  • Many class spells have been changed to make them more effective starting at level 1 and to balance PvM and PvP.
  • Spell points spent on all spells modified in this update that are not strictly better than their previous version have been returned.

Cra

Poisoned Arrow :

  • Damage increased at all levels.

Atonement Arrow :

  • An extra effect has been added: The spell also adds damage to itself 6 turns after being cast.

Bat's Eye :

  • The spell now detects invisible objects in its area of effect.

Punitive Arrow :

  • Base damage has been reduced.
  • A second charge turn has been added, 4 turns after the spell initial cast.

Slowdown Arrow :

  • The spell is now 4 AP at level 1 to 5.
  • The spell is now 1 cast per turn at level 1 to 5.
  • Damage has been raised at level 6.

Ecaflip

Heads or Tails :

  • The number of casts per turn has been changed to 4 at all levels.
  • The number of casts per target has been changed to 3 at all levels.
  • The damage are now stabilized at all levels of the spell.
  • The damage on allies is now different from the enemies and reduced.
  • Heals on allies is now stabilized and raised at all levels of the spell.
  • Heals on ennemies is now stabilized and reduced at all levels of the spell.

Feline Leap :

  • The AP cost is now of 1 AP at all levels.
  • The teleportation effect has been changed to a 1 MP increase for the turn to the spell’s target.
  • The cooldown is now of 4-3-2-1 at level 1 to 4.
  • The range is now of 2 at all level of the spell.
  • The maximum number of MP gained from this spell is now of 3 at all levels of the spell.

Bluff :

  • The damage roll is now stabilized at all level of the spell. The attack’s element remains random.
  • The AP cost is now of 3 at level 1 to 5.
  • The damage has been proportionally reduced at level 1 to 5.

Perception :

  • The area of effect of the spell is now of 5 at all levels.

Clover :

  • The cooldown is now of 5 at all levels of the spell.
  • The spell no longer has a critical effect.
  • The spell’s duration has been changed to 3 at all levels.
  • The critical hit bonus has been changed to 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 at level 1 to 6.

All or Nothing :

  • The spell behaviour has been changed :
  • The AP cost has been changed to 4 at all levels of the spell.
  • The area of effect is now of 4 cells and has a range of 2.
  • The healing and damage roll has been increased and stabilized.
  • The damage is now dealt instantly and in the water element.
  • The heal is now dealt on the second turn.
  • There are no longer any difference between allies, enemies or the spell caster.

Roulette :

  • The AP value given to everyone has been reduced to 2 at all levels of the spell.
  • The MP value given to everyone has been reduced to 2 at all levels of the spell.

Topkaj :

  • The AP cost is now of 3 at level 1 to 5.
  • The damage has been stabilized at all levels.
  • The damage has been reduced at level 1 to 5.

Rough Tongue :

  • The damage has been stabilized at all levels.

Summoning Claw :

  • The AP cost has been changed to 3 AP at level 1 to 5.
  • The cooldown has been changed to 10-9-8-7-6-5 at level 1 to 6.
  • The vitality, agility, chance and intelligence of the kitten has been increased.
  • The number of MP and its strength.
  • The “Rotten Luck” spell no longer inflict a dodge penalty, but rather heals nearby allies once per turn.
  • The “Catatack” spell is no longer random and now inflict fixed damage to nearby ennemies once per turn.

Smell :

  • The spell no longer has a critical hit.
  • A global cooldown has been added.
  • The spell now gives a MP bonus and a AP penalty on the current turn, then a AP bonus and a MP penalty on the next turn.
  • The AP cost is now of 2 at all levels of the spell.
  • The AP cost is reimbursed to the Ecaflip.
  • The maximum range is now of 1 at level 6.
  • The cooldown has been changed to 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2 at level 1 to 6.
  • The area of effect is now of 3 at all levels of the spell.

Playful Claw :

  • The AP cost is now of 4 at level 1 to 5.
  • The range is no longer modifiable at all levels of the spell.
  • The range is now of 5 at level 6 of the spell.
  • The damage has been stabilized and reduced at level 1 to 5 of the spell.
  • The damage has been stabilized and raised at level 6 of the spell.

Claw of Ceangal :

  • The damage has been stabilized, increased, and changed to air element.
  • The range has been changed to 4 at all levels.
  • The AP loss is now dodgeable and raised on a normal or a critical hit.
  • The AP loss no longer triggers unless the target is healed on the same turn, 3 time maximum.

Fate of Ecaflip :

  • The roll has been stabilized and increased at all levels of the spell.
  • The Critical Hit rate has been changed to 1/40 at all levels of the spell.
  • The maximum range is now of a linear 5 at all levels of the spell.
  • The spell behaviour has been changed :
    • It now attracts of 4 cells then knockback 4 cells, on both normal and critical hit.
    • The MP loss is now dodgeable and raised on both normal and critical hit, it is now of 2 turns, but only triggers if the target is dealt knockback damage on the turn.

Felintion :

  • The damage is now a water lifesteal.
  • The maximum range is now of 6 at all levels.
  • The knockback value is now of 2 at all level.
  • The lifesteal and heal value has been stabilized at all level and raised on critical hit.
  • The healing has been reduced on a critical hit.

Eniripsa

Curative Word :

  • The AP cost is now of 3 AP at levels 1 to 5.
  • The healing has been increased on a normal hit and reduced on a critical hit (Average at 1/2CH has been kept)

Frightening Word :

  • The AP cost is now 1 at all levels.
  • The maximum number of casts per target is now of 1 at levels 1 and 2, 2 at levels 3 to 5, 3 at level 6.
  • The maximum number of casts per turn is now of 1 at level 1, 2 at level 2, 3 at levels 3 and 4, 4 at levels 5 and 6.

Healing Word :

  • The AP cost is now of 2 at levels 1 to 5.

Regenerating Word :

  • The healing value is now based on the maximum vitality of the target and no longer depends on the caster’s intelligence or healing bonus.

Word of Thorn :

  • The cooldown is now of 4 turns at levels 1 to 4.
  • The reflected value is increased at all levels.

Word of Youth :

  • The AP cost is now 4 at levels 1 to 5.
  • The range is now 3, 5, 7, 9 at levels 2, 3, 4, 5.
  • The maximum number of casts per target is now 1 at every levels.

  • The spell can no longer be stacked: The maximum accumulation of the spell effect, per target, is now of 1 across all levels.
  • The spell’s principle has changed: it now provides a dodge bonus of one turn upon being casted, followed by a power bonus the following turn.

Pandora’s Box :

  • The range is now of 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 at levels 2, 3, 4, 5, 6.
  • Line of sight is now required.
  • The critical hit bonus has been removed.
  • The spell now heals and it’s indexed to the maximum vitality of the target but also gives a malus to the Enutrof’s MP reduction ability on the following turn.

Mound :

  • The AP cost is now 3 across all levels.
  • The spell’s damages have been decresed across all levels.

Reducing Key :

  • The maximum range is now of 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 at levels 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6.

  • The duration of the range malus is now of 3 on a non critical hit and of 4 on a critical hit, across all levels of the spell.

  • The intelligence and strength gain is replaced by a power bonus, and its value has been reduced.

Unsummoning :

  • The spell becomes available at level 90.
  • The range is now of 5, with a linear restriction, across all levels.

Dolly Sacrifice :

  • The range is now 4 across all levels.

  • The damages deal in the Water element and have been increased.
  • The damages can also be inflicted on non summon enemies, but the life steal only works when cast on summons and allies.

The Maddoll :

  • The range is now 2 across all levels.
  • The cooldown period is now 4 at levels 1 to 5 and 3 at level 6.
  • The Maddoll’s AP, AP reduction, vitality and dodge have been increased.
  • The summon now has a “cowardly” behaviour.
  • Its Irritation spell no longer reduces MP (its critical hit has been removed) and its range is now boostable. The AP loss value is now fixed to 2 at levels 1 to 5. It is only castable once per target per turn.

Soothing Bramble :

  • A global cooldown has been added.

    • The spell now has an initial cooldown of one turn.

Knowledge of Dolls :

  • The AP cost is now 2 at level 1 to 5.
  • The range is now 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 at level 2 to 6.
  • It has a maximum accumulation of one.
  • The duration is now of 3 turns across all levels.
  • The cooldown period is now of 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5 at levels 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6.
  • The number of +summons is now of 2 at levels 1 to 5 and of 3 at level 6.

Tree :

  • The AP cost is now 3 at level 1 to 5.

The Inflatable :

The critical hit has been removed. The critical failure rate is now of 1/100, and no longer causes end of turn. The MP bonus value is now fixed at 2 at levels 1 to 5. The duration of the MP bonus is now of 2 turns at level 1 to 5, and 3 turns at level 6.
  • The heal value of its Dollish Care spell is fixed across all levels, the critical failure rate is now of 1/100.

The Ultra-Powerful :

  • The AP cost is now 4 across all levels.
  • The range is now 2 across all levels.
  • A global cooldown has been added.
  • The vitality has been added, and the MP reduced.
  • The order of the MP dodge debuff and the MP removal of the spell “Cut” have been reversed. The MP dodge penalty is now 4 at level 1 to 5, and 5 at level 6. Critical failure is no longer fatal.

Tree of Life :

  • The cooldown is now 10, 9, 8, 7, 6 and 5 at level 1 to 6.
  • The water and earth resistance have been swapped

Sram

Deviousness :

  • The critical hit rate is now 1/30 at level 1 to 5.
  • The maximum range is now 4 at level 1.
  • The damage has been raised on both normal and critical hit at level 1 to 5.
  • Damage has been increased on normal hit and decreased on a critical at level 6.

Mistake :

  • The maximum number of stack is now 2.

Tricky Blow :

  • The spell is now linear, and its range of 3 at level 1 to 5, and 4 at level 6.
  • The number of cast per turn is now 3 at all levels.
  • The number of cast per target is now 2 at all levels.
  • The damage is now fire and has been stabilized.
  • The knockback value is now 2 at level 1 to 5, and 3 at level 6.

Double :

  • The AP cost is now 3 at all level.
  • The maximum range is now 2 at all levels.
  • The cooldown is now 11, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6 at level 1 to 6.

Location :

  • The spell is now acquired at level 80.
  • The behaviour of the spell has changed :
    • It now deals damage in an area of effect to foes that are within 2 or 3 cells of him in linear while attracting them and stealing intelligence.
    • The AP cost is now of 4, and it can be cast up to twice per turn.
    • It no longer detect invisible object in the area of effect.

Mass Trap :

  • The AP cost is reduced at level 1 to 5.

Chakra Concentration :

  • The spell has been modified :

Making Cra's efen more OP as they already are Goodjob now a sram doesnt stand a chance against any cra . Thank you frenchies good job with fucking this game efen more up.

By the way, trophies are all released and viewable too. Most of them have some major bonus with a malus, e.g. +100 cha -200 vit (and that for all elements), then +32 lock -32 dodge, also +1 AP -1 MP (sic!).

Maybe I can compile a full list later, but right now it's tedious to click through all of them on the Beta by recipe.

Balancing revenue Frigost 1 and 2:

Revenues objects from Frigost extensions 1 and 2 (when they leave) are changed: now they all contain pebbles from Kolizém or Dopple and use resources from several different areas and dungeons. Devblog an article on this subject will be published shortly.

Revenues objects introduced in update 2.9 are also modified the wheels from the quest Almanax (Solar Rollers) are replaced by rollers Brasillants(sparkling). The following items are affected:

Bring my cra back into the game.

After bringing down speedy teamfights (pain shared), teams are getting more nerfed with less bufss (3turns stimu, weird smell ._., greed,..)

at least i can just swap the equip between them, but kinda feel sorry for single accounter who can pretty much have unusable char after 2.10

Arachnid is removed from the monster achievements... I knew it. Shouldn't have camped for that, grr.

There is also a new trophy with +80 pushback res -32 dodge. But at the same time CB gets his pushback damage increased. :lol:

Aye, I just leeched an osa to 199 and about 70%, fully scrolled it too. Now that their buffs only affect a single target, I find them redundant in PvM...

So, to make another character to replace this (and hope that ankama doesn't nerf that by the time I've finished it) or to just call it quits.

There's basically no stability in this game.

Edit : If Ankama are wanting people to get themselves through Frigost 2 ASAP - With class inbalance being the issue surely an overall buff would have been more appropriate?
