Almanax Awesomeness

276 posts in this topic

So today is 150% bonus to mining iron. I mined all the iron I could for about 30 minutes, and then dropped it at [-1, 0] and sat there for 20 minutes watching people try and pick it up.

I like to watch the world burn.

That is too awesome.

Friday bonus was an increase in drops in Nelween dungeon; Saturday was saved resources in the Village. I figured I could combine both of the bonuses.

GrKMu.png

First, I ran the dungeon 8 times on 8 chars. While I could solo the last room and capture the soul on every character, it was way too long and annoying. So I settled for five 4-loot souls per run, 40 souls in total.

Then, of course, I opened the souls with an 8-man team. Even despite the penalty I dropped more Nelween downs than with a 4-man team. The system is still broken.

Time for crafting! I managed to make extra 20 items from the saved mats. The Daggero amulets are here just for fun.

The end results. 194 pushback damage runes. Not bad.

Niceone. Are you keeping or selling those runes? I bet they'd fetch a pretty sum

Yeah, the regular neutral damage runes alone can fetch at least 8.5mk. But I'm keeping them for now. At one point I'd like to do AP exomages and I will need all kind of runes to fix the failed attempts.

So this got me 3% away from 200! \o

Btw, the challenges were focus and just hit kimbo until he dies, so had to kill everything with gliphs, endeded up leaving 1 snailmet to the end.

Just did the "A Mine Of Information" quest on four chars. Took advantage of the current Bonta item bonus and crafted the cloaks; this one popped out second:

720 Elorie Dagger Crafts, added both the vitality and agility individual rolls together.

Evidence suggests that so far as these daggers are concerned, they turn any roll for the 4 lowest stats (the bottom 25%) and simply turn them into a perfect roll. Although that doesn't sound quite right, because the 395 value is the original standard probability of a 40 (for 1440 crafts with a range of 25-40) returning 65 and then adding 65*4 (the impossible rolls) for a total of 325. I dunno, I'd like for that to be 390, which pretty much puts us bang on for the original probability*6.

Should've also recorded damage. Anyone else got some stats to share on it?

I'm not the numbercrunchy kind of guy, but here's some data for you:

100 x Terophyle Axe

21 - 70 Str

33 - 3 56 - 5

34 - 1 57 - 3

35 - 3 58 - 1

36 - 3 60 - 3

38 - 2 61 - 3

40 - 3 62 - 5

41 - 2 63 - 2

42 - 4 64 - 1

44 - 2 65 - 1

47 - 2 66 - 2

48 - 3 69 - 4

49 - 1 70 - 18

50 - 2

51 - 1

52 - 1

53 - 4

54 - 4

55 - 1

Seems to confirm your thesis. The spread looks perfectly normal, except for the total absence of rolls below 33 and the unusual high number of perfect rolls.
