Edit:- Sorry for my questions, but their example was based on the fact that you will play only 1 char on that account, also if my panda was 142 the new alt will get 200% xp to 142, what if before the new alt reached this level, i leveled my panda to 150? i mean the logical thing that my new alt will continue to receive 200% xp till 150, but come on! since when ankama depends on the logic!
Izmar said in the official thread that it updates dynamically. If you level the Panda to 150, then the new alt will get double xp until 150. If you level the new alt higher, then the Panda will start gaining double xp.

(besides making an enu army)
Anyways, people interested in this most likely got enough high level chars to leech another account up.
I don't belief this is going to solve the multi problem, nor does it help to get more people through CB.
I would be really interested what's the idea from Ankama behind this...
Edit : WTF happened with my avatar LMAO....
Edit2: All I can say is that's a WONDERFUL update!
I am really looking forward to group up with you guys to hunt some piwi!
Together we could drop some Piwi sets or even ADV sets to make some kamas!
Pretty sure we will have a lot of fun! You'll find me on my level 10 Enu!
PM me plizzz, I nolagg highwis always pass!

Could the answer lie in the first line of the announcement? You bet! To make it easier to discover the various classes and encourage players to create several characters on the same account, we have decided to develop an XP bonus system for secondary characters. Because currently, let's face it, who makes chars on the same account other than prof whores/ shopping alts? Not many people for sure.
With x2 or greater xp boost what do you need a piwi set for?
Obviously this isn't some sort of "death to multiclienting" idea, and quite frankly I don't know why people think they would actually work on something like that, lol. This is a good idea in my opinion, and I don't see any harm in it. It helps people who have gotten bored of their class to the point where they wish they could change it, granted it's not exactly class change but it's the next best thing. A lot of the multiclient haters also have at least 2 characters on the same account as well from my experience, so it's helpful to them as well. And if you were planning to make an enu army anyway, how is leveling them faster bad? If you have a lvl 200 main and for whatever reason you want to make an alt on the same account, who would enjoy being like 83? And what use would that character be in your regular team? I really don't understand some of the rants. People bitch/quit because the game is a grind, now for your secondary char it gets at least halved but apparently this is even worse.

Personally, I love this new feature and will most likely make use of it to fool around with some new chars. I don't intend on quitting any of my current high level chars and I already have alt Enus at a level sufficient for dropwhoring. The only reason I'd make more chars is to try different class combinations for things and I wouldn't wanna make more accounts just for that (mainly because me and my other half already exceed the 8-chars-per-group limit by far).

No, it's the 'XP Bonus system for Secondary Characters' topic.
Although, I am sure this whole system was devised and is being implemented solely to appease you.

I am with you here. In fact, I'd go even one step further.
In one of the first replies to this topic, somebody raised concern that this would mean the end of hopes for character transfer from one account to another. I believe the contrary is the case. It is Ankama setting themselves up for it. Let's face it, we all somewhat loath having to level a new character the hard way. Now it is faster leveling an alt on the same account. Then Ankama will allow transfers and get money (Ogrines) for that. Then players transfer the character to a new account and sub it, which again means money/Ogrines for Ankama. It is all geared towards getting people to create high level teams fast.

I can see where you're coming from, but it seems to me that moving in the direction you stated would be conflicting with the way they seem to want to be moving. Considering all the multi-accounting limits they've been implementing and the multiple reasons they stated in the devblog itself of benefits for single accounters, the overall theme seems to be adding more benefits and flexibility for single-accounters rather than make it easier to make epic level teams. Of course I can be missing something or not understanding correctly.

I'm going to make an enu army across my 8 accounts. My lowest level character across those eight is a level 100 leech nub so this helps me quite a bit. My enus should be 100 in no time.

Before I was planning to quit my cra and start a xelor/eca/masq/2nd sacrier on a new account. But now it seems very tempting to make it on the cra's account. But what if Ankama suddenly changes the cras which makes it very fun to play again (for me that is) and I I really like the other class I made on that certain account? I would have to chose between those 2 and eventually I would end up xping the class I didnt pick on a different account..
