Hey guys!

I have for a LONG time considered buying a new TV since my old one is just terrible...

I want it to be at least 32inches and be Full HD, but so far I also understood that there is alot of other stuff that you should be aware of when buying a flatscreen (prolly goin for an LED).
Apart from resolution and the 50/100hz update frequency I know nothing about TVs so please enlighten me if you can!

I've looked at these two TVs, is there any1 who got any pros/cons on them?

Phillips one, pretty damn cheap. Is it because it sucks?

Couldn't find any english specs on it.


Anyways is there any1 who could help me judge those 2 tvs or give me some guidelines so I know what to look for?

I'm no expert but if you just look for the things you mentioned like full HD, 50/100hz (100) preferably and the right size and then look at the TV in person, stores usually have them on display and will play around with settings and what not if you ask and see if you like the picture quality, if not find a new one to look at

LCD/LED Samsung is the way to go Phillips make utter pieces of shit for T.V's Samsung are leading the way in the market for T.V's, I have a 55" LED Samsung and don't have a single regret on the purchase at all (Internet T.V.)

I highly suggest paying a little bit more and getting the Samsung you won't regret it.

Also I brought a Philips brand T.V which was a 30" or so a couple of years back within 12 months the sound on it was shoddy by the end of it it had a line that went down the screen and dead pixels here and there it was much like the one you have listed above sort of a to good to be true deal and it certainly was.

1)Samsung Def my number 1 pick, not to mention all share is a bloody nice feature, stream videos/music right from laptop wirelessly to T.V.
2)Sony (Pretty average)
3)Phillips (Don't waste your time)

A mate ingame also told me much of the same info, and also suggested me a specific Samsung TV, so it's nice to see that it's not just his opinion

Samsung will soon overtake all the electronics market, TVs Laptops Phones, you name it and they will overtake it
Seriously Samsung is now an empire, though it started as cereal store 0.o but now they are the leading company in everything (started bio-technology lately), and they manufacture using the top-notch electronic components (though they steal some patents, but who doesnt?!).
But am still in doubt about choosing a Samsung Laptop over Alienware or others (money is no problem).

I know its a bit off topic, i mean that i would pick samsung at anyday for whatever am buying, but am hesitating on buying samsung laptop, I have galaxy tab 7.0 and thinking about getting the 10.1 rather than getting Ipad or anything, considering also to get galaxy S2 for phone or galaxy Note (but its huge), If i ever buy a desktop, for sure the screen would be Samsung LED or one of thier 3D, maybe am becoming Samsung freak 0.o

But you can check LG, they make nice TV's and sometimes they are cheaper than samsung

Edit: and really alienware suck? i was thinking about getting thier desktop X51 :S
