It's set to be a fairly busy area despite its size, and an MMORPG that you have to pick up and put down every few months because of glaring gaps in content updates is pretty piss poor.


EDIT: @Mikemeplease Not to mention doing the quest for the Ice Dofus on all 7 characters, if it's anything near Eternal Harvest you'll be busy.

4 dungeons have kept us busy for the last 6 (?) months, i don't see why 6 of higher difficulty can't occupy us for a year.

Realistically i could stand running CB/Kolosso for another few months if i knew something good was around the corner. But until 2013? No.

In my opinion frigost just has increased to the limit what dofus problem was.... long ago 1.XX version I made number for a solo account to do the moowolf set.

Let's see:

- You are a solo account player and casual player, saying you do one dung per day
- You are superlucky to have friends that gave you the drop
- You are superlucky (Again) and get every run at least one scalp

You'll need to do in the best scenario 10 runs (or 5 runs - 5arena)

But we all know that:

a) people disconecting, you are not able to do groups all the time, there is no 100% win everytime
b) not everybody has the perfect friends that will gave you everything
c) dofus drops are........ well dofus drops

Add to this the extremly ridiculous drops (pandora master fabric) & that you need maybe a "x" class for the run (eni depending on lvl group...)

The result is you are losing the fun of the game.

Now frigost just made all that i said to ^2 or ^3
insta kill - invuln - etc -etc

just my 2 cents

Are you saying it's hard to gear a solo character ? Because It's not, I tried it. You don't have to drop everything yourself, the markets are here to help.

Another strategy is too have nice friends. They help you hunt your full set; With that added power in the team it makes it easier for you to help them get theirs, and so on.

I managed to gear my eca without much help I got help gearing it into moowolf, and i had a little help when i went w/ Obsi (I had one piece made for me for free >.< ) but besides that, ive funded my set myself, by making money I spammed cracklers for a month solid just to afford it, and imo, it paid off rather nicely Sets are easier to farm with a high level team, of 1-2 people controlling them, but there are other ways to make money Even exo-maging items on a solo acc can be highly profitable if you learn how to do it efficiently

Also after reading most of the thread I think that Ankama should put up some links towards IV and other sites where people can help eachother, that way alot more people will succesfully do the frig 2 dungeons. I only started playing April previous year and when I look around at my guilds/randomn people at my server it shows how much IV helped me with all. People who've played for alot longer are asking me for advice now on how to complete dungeons. While abit less then a year ago I was asking if I should put points to every element on my osa (heck I had more points in the other stats then on int lol). Like some randomn fucktard who was always making fun of me because I didn't know shit about dofus and I felt like a god for killing a piwi in 1 attack, he was lvl 188 at the time and I was only 4. Now I run 7 chars from lvl 199 and he asked few days ago if I wanted to leech him through all of the fri dungeons (he's fucking 197!)

I have a great idea. Make a place that you MUST be level 200 to enter, and you can get an exclusive level 200 set with the drops from that area. One catch:

Two characters per IP in the area.

Good thing I don't run Ankama right? XD

(In all seriousness you'd be happy, because if you got hacked there would be fluent english speaking customer service people to handle your problems . There'd also be a lot of updates!)

The sets will be endgame, specifically designed to compete with the celestial bearbarian set in order to bring more diversity. At least according to inside Ankama 11 in spanish.
