February 29th doesn't come by every year, so we've decided to celebrate in style! An extraordinary day calls for an extraordinary release… Timing is important after all, so let's get it right! All of us at Ankama are proud to announce that the WAKFU MMORPG will officially be released on Wednesday, 29th February 2012!

Do you know how long we've had to wait for a leap year to finally come around?!
We've been waiting patiently to release our game for almost four years! OK… We know... It took a while, but it'll be worth it. Well, actually, that'll be for YOU to tell us!

WAKFU is a game that always does things that little bit differently, and so to make sure that everyone remembers the release date you can enjoy the "Gold" version of the game from the 29th February 2012.

Thanks for your loyalty, and we hope that the end result lives up to your expectations. See you in game real soon!

Every time I play Wakfu, I feel like the only thing that can save people from boredom are the professions. For some reason all I want to do when I play is grind them. The pvm is just so boring and it is pretty damn challenging too. Much harder than Dofus was before the hp buff for low levels. Not saying that challenge is an issue though, the main problem is just how boring it is -.-

Ever wondered how the fuck the Japanese came up w/ tentacle hentai? This is where it comes from wiki link . Still doesn't make it less disturbing...

We'll probably be seeing Frigost Episode 3 content on wakfu before it ever travels back a thousand or so years and appears on Dofus

That said, I can't seem to get past the Server Select Screen for Dofus, so maybe ill have better fucking luck with Wakfu a month from now >.>

Been there, seen what i needed to see... A new grind is approaching and i am not sure i want to be a part of it.

The new race for top ladder positions will excite people and make them abandon Dofus which does not make me happy at all. It will also encourage multiaccounting which for me personaly will be difficult on my current machine (yeah, some claim it is not necessary in Wakfu but sooner or later i see it comming). Soo... I think i'd rather make additional accounts on Dofus than start a new addiction.
I will support Ome on this one. Episode 3 please
