it means the permanent health loss from hits does not exceed 50%, it doesn't mean your max hp can not be reduced by more then 50% during the course of the fight, there is no limit to that you can effectively get someone into double digits max hp.

Reduces OPness my fat fucking ass. Fecas are using this shit to their advantage and I think it needs to be removed, taking permanent damage if you do not receive any damage makes no damn sense.
In these kolo fights Fecas are using Truce and then using those two turns to beat the shit out of my characters taking their hp down to nothing (With the help of permanent damage spells) while there is not a damn thing I can do... Cannot heal the damage... cannot run from them because they have freaking movement spells... cannot attack them back because of Truce... and cannot dispel them.... thus I am fucked. Seriously taking my Eni from 2800 hp down to 588 and me not being able to do a DAMN thing about it is bullshit. They need to either change the spell so as no permanent damage can go through, or make it where no permanent damage can go through shields again...

I also have no idea why this topic suddenly turned into "Onoez Fecas are so OP".
The permanent damage through shields is not new, it came around with Kwismas Island. This Beta version was only supposed to fix a display glitch with it.

Um, my point is that they team with people who have huge potential for damage while my team does not. I used trickery and the dark side of fights to win. Against them, only brute force works, and that has always been something my team lacks.

This is more about Feca being overpowered against Enis when combined with classes that increase permanent damage. Because a Feca by himself would need to deal 22120 damage during truce to reduce you that much (read as: LOL NO). Surprise though, add an Ecaflip, and they can get away with dealing only 4915.56 damage to you... without even killing you?

Hmm. Fun fact: if they're dealing 4916 damage in two turns to your Eni, you're probably not going to live either way. Without truce, that's 2458 per turn, which is not a lot if the team is Masq-Eca-Iop or something. That cuts your max hp to 2554, so even if you WoR, you'll be left at 96 hp after the next barrage, less if they also abuse permanent damage (which they could). So you end up with more max HP during Truce.

Moral: That kind of team would outdamage you anyway... Permanent damage is already the best way to combat Enis, but adding a Feca pushes it over the top, and only because you don't happen to have permanent damage abilities to abuse against the Feca.

Permanent damage is also the best way to combat Fecas...

All that being said, I'm personally leaning more toward the opinion that permanent damage is ridiculously powerful against Fecas and Enis as opposed to "OP FECA"

Sounds more like a flaw in your team than Fecas being OP... and this is perfectly normal. If there wasn't a matchup that killed you, something about your team would be OP.

That must be an exaggeration. Your eni alone has the ability to hit through truce with Mot Olov, push attackers away, take MP, take AP with word of silence without increasing your permanent damage, or use Draining Word to further decrease damage even though it increases permanent damage percentage.

Sometimes I wish I had more direct damage. But I'm a summon focused build right now. Either way, I'm gonna win some and lose some. And either way, I can deal damage. I dunno what people are having such a hard time with. Play smart, and don't expect to win more than half the time.

I never said Fecas are OP, they are FAR from it. I said that permanent damage going through shields is crap when a team can completely disable me and basically kill one of my characters.

You are talking about the other team using truce and then adding permanent damage so that even if the damage is prevented, the % perm damage still goes through and since you cannot do the same thing to them, they basically have 2 turns of immunity? I love that they added +vit, +perm damage and some more -resist effects to spells, but I can understand the issue with the combination of truce and +perm damage. But ignoring truce, I think perm damage is a great way to counter what couldn't be countered in the past (reduction and healing). Now it is finally viable to use a pvp team that doesn't have an eni and this is a fucking blessing.

Personally, I wouldn't roll with an eni for kolo just cuz you are likely to sacrifice class synergy and they can be a liability. I'd much rather use a xelor, eca, or iop

Yeah, having an eni is not mandatory anymore, I just won with masque + eca against good sram + eni (the 3rd ones of each team being completely irrelevant as they pretty much skipped their turns).

That said, an eni with nice resistances and heals are really good to have in kolo, you just don't often see those at all (CB set is garbage for enis and gladiator is more pvm oriented).
