The only explanation i can think of for the prizes being a few thousand ogrines, is shipping other prizes(Artbooks, comics, plushies etc) out to all the winners (Locations, shipping cost or whatever).

Hopefully Izmar can give a better reasoning when she gets back, because this doesn't seem very interesting or even planned out well. Shame

edit: Oh right, totally forgot about the possible double xp prize, Stupid weekend to put it on + what Ome said.

I mainly agree with bad idea of double exp weekend on that time. Most of people really DO have life and want to party, instead of exp

to be honest, i really expected better pictures, and as there are not even 10 finalists as was announced, thats probably everything people send? some of them even doesnt seem to fit to rules...

Yeah, exactly. Since people bitched before about being able to do other art forms vs draw I figured there would be more. No offense Bilie but your second picture is horrible and I can't believe it would be a finalist...it's not exposed correctly

all the pictures are ugly to be honest: no artistic work other than posing, bad quality (phone picture or what?).

Imps' artist cove is filled with very good pictures from talented photographs and that's all the international community could come up with? o_O

I don't mean to sound bitter, but I took a nice high res photo of a sunset and my bow meow plushy, and all I see here,as stated, are low res photos that look like they were taken with a toaster

Don't get me wrong, some of them are pretty nifty for dressing up, and I know there's not chance in hell I would be able to do that, so kudos to them, but one is just a guy sitting in his chair with a printed out picture of his sac. How does that really count? =/

actually, i blame the contest theme. clearly no one good at photography near those areas (plus, this must be the least inspired contest ever - since only a couple of dofus players live there? let alone you have to have bought plushies/whatever items from their shop... what an easy contest for them, only 10 (?) people participating lol)

i look at the 'different communities' final set of photos and they're brilliant.
