Damage Reflect (Thorns, Counter, Blinding Protection, etc), no longer reduces damages, only deals damage whenever hit.
Reflects now are based on caster's level, not on wisdom.

Mummification no longer gives +AP removal resistance.
Mummification no longer removes MP, gives gravity for 2 turns instead (No Teleportation or Flight)

Demotivation and Slowdown now can only be cast twice per turn each. Demotivation now requires a LoS.

Hand is now 4 ap at all level. Max of two cast per turn. Changed to 1/40 crit.

Xelor Sandglass is now 2 ap at all level, 1/40 crit.

Teleportation is now 4 ap at all level. Range is 14 and 18 at level 5 and 6 respectively. Cd are now 14, 13, 12, 11, 10 and 8.

Shriveling now has 3 casts max per turn.

Temporal dust is now 5 ap at all level. 2 cast max per turn. Damage has been stabilized.

Blinding Protection now requires a Line of Sight and has modifiable range.

Clock is now 5 ap at level 1-3. 1/40 crit at all level. Critical's AP thief is 1 at all level.

Xelor Punch's range is now 5 at all level. 1/40 crit at level 1-5.

Xelor Dial is now 3 AP at all level. CD is now 9, 8, 7, 6, 5 and 4. More healths at level 6. Critical hit from the hourglass now last 7 turns.

Well, I thought my xelor was gonna suffer, but I use him to deal damage (only reason I dont replace him for an osa). Well, that wasnt that bad, and reducing cri ratio of xel punch to 1/40 is cool, only problem is Shriveling, but I was already thinking about when they were going to nerf its cast/turn anyway.

Yeah, clearly says so in the changelog Lichen added. 2 per turn (in addition to the 1 per target it had before). Choose your targets wisely!


I'm interested to hear more Xelor opinions on this.
My own thoughts (as a "never played Xel myself") would be that it barely affects damage Xelors who casually AP rape (and in fact, strengthens their role compared to pure wis bishes), but I'm curious how game-changing you think this is.

They got under the hammer aswell only not as hard. Word of thorn and Preventing are affected like feca shields and xelor reflects.

I reset from a wisdom-based xelor to a strength based one last week. I feel like a lot of others will do this, too. This is horrible.

Edit: If these changes go through as planned, I'll just play a new class. I have a 199.4 Xelor, a 169 Xelor, and a 155 Xelor, none leeched, all raised by me, I love the class, and I can't believe what they are doing. I don't even pvp that much.
I was fine when they nerfed clock, but this shit is too much. Inb4 "its a beta give it a while lol u".

Inb4 xelor rage. I guess at this rate it's safe to say clumsiness will get a cast restriction sooner or later as well. :lol:

Personally, this won't affect me too much as a xelor, just don't know where to put points in as I doubt I'll relvl counter if this sticks as it is.

Yay cast restrictions on everything! Every spell is overpowered so it cant be used a lot! They already reduced max ap/mp from gear, now they ALSO restrict amount of times you can cast spells, which is awesome for classes that have like 2 element damage spells, next stop: nerfing weapons, 3 ap = 4 casts per turn, 4 ap = 3 casts per turn, 5 ap = 2 casts / turn

and what will it change that is so awful you can't live with it? I've played agi, int, str, chance and mutli-elemental xel at epic lvl. None of the changes announced would harm any of those builds in PvM so I really don't see the problem here. Slight modifications is all I see.

In PvP however, it solves AP-raping abuse by forcing xelor to chose what stats they pump in/focus on with gears:
- more wis for more AP-rape (and only AP-rape, not free protection and free reflects damages)
- or more stats for more hitting power and not OP spells you can actually use even with ridiculously low stats.

I woke up naked on a beach next to Simbad. I don't care what builds you've played. If a monster can damage through reflections, the AI will attempt an attack, also, as for none of the changes effecting pvm, well, I don't know what to say here. Yes, yes they will.
