Howdy Imps!

No doubt, you're probably wondering WTF after seeing the forum ;-). We've moved to a new server and have taken a huge upgrade in forum software, and are still working on getting everything back in place. If you're looking for details of the move, look no further than this thread.

As I've said, this is still a work in progress. Upcoming things:

A non-default forum theme
Faster, unrestricted searching (hopefully allowing 3-char words!)
Access to the old old archives
General cleanup work for old/defunct groups and forums
Speed tweaks
Fixing a whole lot of broken images

So we still have a ways to go, but I wanted to get this open to the public ASAP. Just be warned, more rapid changes are expected :blink:

It's certainly slicker so far. Now to find all the new settings for me to fiddle with.

EDIT: On which note, anybody seeing the post side bar with the messed up Server field, I'm working on that. But the change rearranged all the control panel stuff

anyway technical note - i dont think you can use http:// prefix in hosts file (at least not in WinXP)

A hard limit on sig sizes or scrolling again is a must... a lot of people have some really massive sigs.

Yep, most of the things mentioned here are forthcoming

My schedule's a bit packed, so it was a choice between launching now in our current state, or launching tomorrow morning with a handful of fixes. My logic: downtime=bad ;-).

So it'll be a few days, but everything will be fixed up soon.

I hate the scrolling sigs. You should make it an option that we can have enabled or disabled. I would definitely prefer to be able to view the full sigs.
