Ok i soooo getting tired of those opertunity agroes ppl are just waiting til some1 whos easy to kil move on map (they got wings down) they agro the brak or bonta they can kil, recall like crazy bitch close wings at zaap and go back to same map til they can agro another easy target

Thers no fun more in pvp, they easly get rank 10 this way cauz recall is way to fast

Ice Kama Changes

So, I've come to realise now that the spiritual gems can no longer be purchased with ice kama that I'm left with a rather large stock of the useless things and the pets nor candies attract me. However, I've come to the idea that seeing as the ice kama either require long quests or dungeon runs to acquire then the "exchange for mats" option could be extended to the boss' mats for say 10-15 Ice Kama each. I do believe that this could also help solo accounters as it gives them a chance to get into endgame gear without struggling to get the dungeons run.

Thoughts? :3

I'm absolutely clueless about what to do with my last character.

Currently the team consists off:

199 Str/int Sadi (from a friend, the rest is mine)
199 Int/str Osa
199 Int/cha Eni
199 Aggi Panda
199 Aggi Sac
199 Wis(/cha) Enu
199 Str/aggi Iop
199 Str/aggi Cra

So I lost the interest in the Cra lately and I'm currently in the state like a girl looking at her closet, I just dont know what to pick. The fact that your getting the xp bonus if your having a higher level character on the same account makes it very appealing to make a new char on the cra's account and very easy to xp. I've been told that I should try a different build but meh I'm not interested anymore.

There's 5 options which seem interesting to me.

First option Xelor: it would hit lower then the cra. But with the +2 AP the entire team could swing its weapon 1 more time (besides the osa) so the damage potential improves alot (or in my case, a shitload more crit fails yay). Rhol back is a + I suppose.

2nd option Masqueraider: Shields, nice self buffs and can hit very nice with an oracular/sunshade + I dont have to hunt a new set wohoo for lazyness

3rd option Feca: well my friend has a 160(?) feca we were training but we got bored off.. tho I need to mention it was only in a minotot set and it was decent but obviously cant judge a class on such a shitty set/level

4th option Ecaflip: always seemed interesting due their high damage, smell and their ability to move around.

5th option a 2nd sacrier: sacrier is my favourite class from all and a str/int giger sacrier seems very interesting to me. Not to mention the fact that I could painshare the entire team

Starting a new character

Been thinking about making a new character without helping it along at all. Not sure how long i'll go with it, but it may be fun if a bunch of people get together and do it. Maybe save up for a guildogem together or something.

I dunno, since frig.3 won't be out for a while and they are nerfing the dungeons again I'd like to have some challenges again.

Frigost 3...

Since a while, a big question is made on forums. DOFUS's players get worried about not seeing us comunicate about the third part of frigost extension, and here's the question: When will Frigost 3 arrive?

To answer this questions indices have already been posted on forums, explaining that the release isn't urgent because only a minority of players can enjoy the last dungeons of the second part of the island. Today, we understand that this answers aren't enlightening... So, unusually, we'll comunicate you some statistics that our range of designers uses to work.

Here's the percentage (rounded down) os characters that have been sucessful (at least once) on the different Frigost dungeons:

Royal Mastogob - 43%
Royal Pinguim - 22%
Buck Anear - 15%
Obsidemon - 11%
Tengu - 7%
Korriander - 5%
Kolosso - 4%
Celestial Bearbarian - 3%

This numbers (that includes every character that is lv50+) aren't totally relevant, since Frigost dungeons are designed for characters between level 120 and 200, so we split the players in two groups.

Here is the percentage (rounded down as well) of characters that have suceeded, at least once, on the several Frigost dungeons between level 160 and 180:

Royal Mastogob - 82%
Royal Pinguim - 42%
Buck Anear - 27%
Obsidemon - 13%
Tengu - 5%
Korriander -2%
Kolosso - 1%
Celestial Bearbarian - 0%

Percentage for characters between level 180 and 200:

Royal Mastogob - 94%
Royal Pinguim - 82%
Buck Anear - 68%
Obsidemon - 55%
Tengu - 39%
Korriander - 30%
Kolosso - 26%
Celestial Bearbarian - 16%

The given numbers aren't satisfatory, and Frigost isn't the sucess we were waiting for. Usually not 100% of the players acess to all the content. On the other side, it's not satisfying that only 16% of the best players of the game suceed on the last boss of Frigost 2, while this hasn't got vocation to eternally stay in an elitist content. With the time, strategy spreading, acess improvements (dungeon teleporting system and dungeon recall) and the increase of chars pontency, it should be way more visited.

Today, just a minority of players between the most experienced, enjoy the totality of the more avanced content of Frigost and the majority depends on them to buy the best equipements. We don't want this situation to last much more time, we want that every player, with a reasonable time investement, can find a go through all the different game areas.

And we also want to emphasize less this situation, by releasing a new extension, with more complex tactics, harder monsters and made for the higher experienced players (199-200). In the current context, it would be really unwise to release Frigost 3. This extension would only accentuate the segmentations in the community.

On Ankama, we desire to release harder content to satisfy the players who want a challenge. It's something that has a place in our heart. But, unfortunately, in the current situation, releasing that new content would be directed to about 3% of our players.

That's why before we had the intention to release as soon as possible Frigost 3, but now there's several projects that we wish to finish. To help you visualize what will occupy us during 2012, here's a summary of our work lines.

The accessibility in the first place, was in the middle of our worries last year and still is today. We want to ease the organization and the formation of teams, to allow all players, mainly mono-accounters, to acess the harder content.

Besides that, the difficulty must be reviewed too. Although we review down twice by the difficulty of Frigost dungeons, the numbers are now very clear: That's not enough. Lots of players still prefer to battle against several simple fights (gobballs, blops...) instead of striving a longer fight, with a better profit, but with a bigger difficulty.

To this players we try to identify which moment the truth becomes too much important, which game mechanics scare them, and how can we reduce the difficulty without making the dungeons too easy for those who want a challenge.

Besided the lack of content, it's also the lack of variety in the equipements that we feel in the game for several months. Wether in PvM or PvP, the players choose the same equipements.

We want to add new equipements with Frigost (to higher levels), but also revalue some dungeons of the "old continent" that are too much abandoned integrating some of their resources to the recipes of the new objects. Also, we are trying to decrease the number of pieces per set, in order to encourage tha players to try different combinations, and to break up the current sets to complete them. This new sets will be added on the next Update.

For sure, any summary it's too short and innacurate to tell us what we're working for 2012. It's necessary to wait for the big news, which many of them will be found in the next Ankama Convention. About the details of the next update that will make Frigost more approachable and prepare the releasing of new content with more challenges, we'll give you more details in the next months, from patch to patch and from devblog article to devblog article.

It's really important to understand that we remain quiet about a new and don't give much details is because we don't want to give you false-hopes or deceptions. We prefer to only communicate to the players when there's no risk of changing something.

To complete... No, Frigost 3 will not be released soon and we're not actually working on it. We should add that we are trying to add more content for every levels and improve the accessibility. The release of Frigost 3 in 2012 isn't totally excluded, the extension is in our plans for the last quarter, but remains tributary on the efficacy of the improvements that we are establishing.

The next step of evolution on DOFUS will start in the beggining of March, with the release of the beta-test of the next update. You should be conscious that the first update of the year will come later, but it's necessary to understand that this year, Ankama releases his second MMORPG, Wakfu. It's an essencial happening for the company, so our test-team must be focused on this new game until its release.

During this time, since the workers are mobilized to Wakfu, DOFUS team reduces their updating rhythm, but no so much! We are still rectifying that we found and improve what needs to be improved.

What you guys think if Ankama would change Shovel of Judgement to -2mp DODGEABLE on normal , and -2mp UNDODGEABLE on critical?
