  1. For those trying to log Ilyzelle, it really depends on the time you try, if you live in the states and can get on when its night time in france, you should be fine, I can only get on around 7~ cst and I'm free2play and manage to get on without waiting 4/5 times.
  2. Shouldn't have a problem getting on Ilyaelle, I manage to and I'm free2play. Subscribed players should have a much easier time than me and I've only had to wait for a spot once although it also depends on when you try, I think I'm able to get on cause its night time in France when I do.
  3. This is probably gonna sound weird but I'm not a big fan of the December update, it took me years (literally started playing in 09 and just got to max on my main a year or two ago) to get to 200 and now there telling me I have to do the thing I hate, leveling, to unlock the MAX potential of my class... I like the idea of spell variations, just don't care for the idea of leveling to get it... I hate the grind more than anything in the world. Granted, its easier with idols but still a chore that I don't associate with the casual way I approach the game. Once I got to level 200 (mind you this was before they halved the experience from 199-200) I felt like I had finally finished the game, I could do whatever I wanted and didn't have to worry about not being high enough to do X and Y. Now... I just don't know. I feel like people are going to be running around now with these neat tricks they can do and all I'll be able to say is "gee, I haven't leveled enough to get that", post 199 all over again. long story short, I don't wuna level anymore. I spent 8 years leveling and I don't wuna spend another hour doing it again, I have other accounts that are pretty much stuck in time cause there at the same levels they were when I reached the max level for my main. I dunno, it might just be my time to leave the game.
  4. Thanks! I managed to make a couple characters on the server, if the EN community ever gets organized let me know, I won't be able to play till the weekend. IGN: Bryant; Tex
  5. Ilyzaelle if I could ever get on, lol, full =P
  6. Pretty excited about the mad dash to get the names people want when the mono-server opens up. I have 4 names I want to lock down.

  7. To be fair, why would anyone continue to walk to dungeons when you could save time and teleport, that just made sense to implement, where as with this suggestion, it doesn't really accomplish anything that can't or isn't already being done which is paying attention to the achievement your doing. When I'm committed to accomplishing an achievement I just made a point to do it like everything else in life. I know this is guna sound like a "duh" answer but I feel like it needs to be said, 'just don't forget', hell, people fail challenges and they have a reminder, what does that tell you?
  8. How about that single account server?

  9. Holler at me in game. I've completed the quest dungeon before with two others. It's not too difficult once you get the hang of things.
  10. @Bob-skittle Well... I have to admit there is a lot of truth to what you just said, casual gamers like myself just need to commit more time to gearing our players to run end game content. Until the next update that is.
  11. It's definitely a balance and hopefully we can find it cause I don't think we have yet.
  12. Whoops, lol, I shouldn't reply and work at the same time but I stand by what I said. The developers agree as well. What you call casual isn't what the majority of the community calls casual cause again, I highly doubt we would be here if it was. I agree the game has become less demanding but to what degree of less demanding? To the point where casual gamers can compete without consistently, and in same cases religiously, committing hours upon hours to a daily/weekly gaming schedule? Ain't no casual gamer got time for that.
  13. @Bob-skittle Yeah, you definitely don't get it. First off, its a game. Second off, I'm in no way saying you shouldn't have to invest time and energy into something to be good at it, i'm arguing that the current state of the games end-game requires too much of casual gamers. I'm done talking with you, your obviously incapable of understanding and discussing how someone wouldn't and can't invest the same kind of devotion to casually enjoy all a game has to offer and won't be pursueded otherwise so as far as i'm concerned you and I are done here.
  14. @Bob-skittle With all do respect man, you have no idea how hard it was for me to get the gear I have, I had to save for awhile to get this stuff from dungeons I couldn't run and you're telling me I have to go farther if I'm serious about running end-game stuff. Are you serious? My gear is the best I can do without investing serious time and energy into the game, I have other things to do besides grind for kamas and buy gear to run end game dungeons, I can't make that kibd of investment is a game and there are a lot of people like me who can't but maybe you can't understand that.
  15. @Bob-skittle I'm starting to see what your talking about and I agree with you to a point. There are a lot of 200 running around who don't know come here from sic'em. I run into them all the time in Kolosseum however, that doesn't mean that there isn't a impressive amount of competent level 200 players, like myself and my friends, most of which have been playing the same class since before 2.0, who still find end-game content such a big investment of time and resources that we just don't have or come up short. Unlike my friends who had their pals with multiple accounts to assist them in completing it, I sit here having done none of it and the one time I came close was because I was also with a pal who had multiple accounts. I'm not disagreeing with anyone who says that end-game content should be difficult and require skill to complete, but I've yet to be convinced that the current dungeon set up is so open and inclusive that some relatively well coordinated friends and maybe a random just don't know what there doing and need to "git good", I've managed to run all frig 1 & 2 dungeons with random groups. Why isn't this the case with frig 3 and other dungeons? Look up my character page on the website, my character name is Anthonyclark.
  16. @Bob-skittle I'm not talking able simply getting to the dungeon, I'm talking about running dungeons successfully or fighting the mobs with some level of competency, that remains unavailable to low level characters so in that sense, yes, that content is available to them but what can they do with it? Sorry for the confusion I guess but there really shouldn't be any, why would anyone be arguing that low level characters can arrive physically at dungeon entrances and teleport others to it? Who cares about that? Yes, I agree about the lengths they went to make the dungeons easier my be a tad too far for quite a few people and I think this is still very much a work in progress in the sense they will continue to tweak and review current and future dungeons difficulties. I also think this is a better approach to varying difficulties because that doesn't really go far enough if you ask me.
  17. With all do respect @Satsuki I disagree. That may very well be your experience but you can't say thats the norm or even a remote reality for many casual gamers. If everyone had that experience solo-accounting we wouldn't be here, in fact the game developers even said in their post "We don't want to ignore the increasing number of players who have reached level 200 but find that the content at that level requires far too much time and effort to complete." End-game content by its design isn't available to everyone in that there generally located in area with powerful mobs and like frigost require that you complete previous dungeons to get there. Sure people can be leeched through but again that isn't the norm so the notion that there making end-game content available to EVERYONE isn't quite accurate. Every in this sense is every class and player alike, whether a casual or hardcore gamer, or even multi-logger or solo-account.
  18. So, heres the thing, I've never played World of Warcraft and I hear it being mentioned pretty frequently. I've seen a couple videos here and there so I know at least one thing. It aint no Dofus and I don't think what works for WoW can be applied here because of a couple things. 1) We don't really know where Ankama stands on the subject of multi-accounters and this also dictates, at a length, my feelings about the whole thing cause I want to trust the judgement of the developers on this matter, if they say it's not a problem or that they want to see how this feature of the game develops, then I'm go with that, they have far more data and resources at their disposal and seeing as how they've never come out and directly asked for the communities input about it, I'm gunna assume they know all they need and this directly affects the implementation of a feature like this the way I see it because... 2) It send the message, whether intentional or otherwise, that if you REALLY want to compete without completing said dungeon 50x times or whatever you essentially have to run the dungeon as a multi-accounter in order to do to. Heres how I see it, either Dofus is an MMO that stresses individual players cooperating/competing on some kind of a level playing field or it isn't. This just creates a group of elites who compete on the same playing field than more casual Dofus players but essentially have this leg-up on the competition simply because they didn't have the time/resources to run multiple accounts. Both these points in some way dictate the future of the game, if multi-logging is gunna be an integral feature of the game they should either make it easier to do or impose certain limitations in order to make it more fair to casual gamers who this game is most likely built around.
  19. Yeah, I agree with @Goatee , so many casual players don't even attempt end game content because pardon my french, the shits difficult, and requires too much time, resources, and general commitment for a team of randoms or even friends to tackle. Well see how these changes play out I suppose, I wouldn't want them to make end game content TOO easy but coming from a solo-accounter whose never completed ANY end game content for the reasons I've mentioned, any change, even if its an extreme one, I'll take it if it means I can actually play the content and I really do want a chance at playing and winning in these dungeons. I'll finally feel like being 200 means something other than grinding for kamas to buy gear so I can play a little better in pvp cause it sure as heck didn't open up this vast world of running end game dungeons.
  20. As a solo accouter I disagree with most of the people complaining about the dungeon nerfs, it was content that was almost completely exclusive to multi-accouters, I for one have NEVER completed an end game dungeon without a multi-accouter and this isn't unique to me, the game designers saw this and didn't want it to be this way and nether do I. This update has been in the works for over a year. This isn't simply some reactive update in response to the communities complaints, they saw a trend that didn't fit there idea of how the content was ment to be experienced and they changed it. Its funny, when developers respond to the communities objections, people say the game is made by the players and when they don't people say there out of touch and don't care, I guess you really can't win for losing. So what if mats and gear will get cheaper as a result of this? I don't expect the elitist multi-accouters to understand this fully, its like telling a fish that's its wet. They'll just have to deal with the changes. While y'all (elitist) are complaining about updates ruining your teams I'll be dancing in your tears with an umbrella and running cats eye dungeon with my pals so I don't have to pay someone with a team and arm and a leg for mats and gear.
  21. Generally, competition tends to drives prices down so things will get cheaper for a season or two.
  22. I really like this idea, would love if they took this route with the spell variations.
  23. I heard about it and have my reservations because one, I want to keep the memory of the show/game that a grew up with untarnished and two, I don't like Anime and hear it was more like an Anime this time around so I'll wait until everything finishes coming out and read what the critics say before making the dive into it but overall I'm pretty excited for the reboot? Look forward to hear what y'all think of it so far.
  24. https://www.dropbox.com/s/lpp55hgz324ige5/dofus-2016-09-22_02-24-14-Anthonyclark.png?dl=0 I like the map in the corner actually, I put group on the left.
  25. After years of saying they would never allow summons to be controled by their summoner because it would make figts last too long, not only did they make a spell for it, but they also allowed specific families to be controlled through fusion... Why not buff the range and make it no LoS? Heck, why not allow them to control other mobs sommons as well? Arche and Skeleton anyone?
