  1. Found it! It wasn't on my Pc cause that was quite a while back, but luckily I burned it on a Dvd :) Thanks, you create really exceptional art too. My methods for improvement even when I haven't drawn in months are to be mindful of mistakes, not being afraid to try new techniques and starting over when I need too, in doing so I allow myself to discover my true potential. :) Random Xelor Didn't use a tablet for this one, it's all mouse and keyboard...
  2. Thanks Rob, I recently started practicing this line-art style with coloring so I'm really pleased with the results too. :) When I randomly sketched the image, I didn't plan on putting anything in the Iop's hand but I changed my mind at the last minute after coloring. The best thing that came to mind was that small blue ball with lightning, which is my representation of an Iop learning to use celestial sword. :> Thanks, its great to see you too. :) Correct! :D Here's another one I did today. This time I scanned the hand drawn image onto my Pc and did minimal editing to the lines. Scanned image.
  3. Hey Everyone long time no see again x4. Just decided to drop by to wish you all a happy new year and to post some artworks I did this week. Unfortunately my life's still a little busy so I won't be here as often as I'd like, but as long as you all are still interested in seeing my artworks I'll continue making the effort to post any artsy stuff I do on my free time for you guys. :) Sorry for the very late reply, and sure most likely I still got it but I can't remember which one is yours lol. Would you mind describing it for me please. :) Here's a few artworks I did recently. I've been inspired to return to drawing my stuff with simple pencil and paper, then scanning and polishing it up digitally using Photoshop CS6. Which gives the process a nice, natural feeling. :> Here are the original rough sketches I did on paper, (approximately 3 inches in height). then I took a snapshot with my phone and uploaded it to my computer, to be edited.
  4. Thanks Stawberriez, it's always a great experience returning to Imps :) Sure! I changed the colors to match your character, I hope it's to your liking :) Here's a slightly larger version I made for display, and I sent the signature and avatar sized images to you via private message.
  5. Sure just send me a picture of your character here or via private message, and would you like a signature/avatar sized version of it too? Edit: Also thanks to everyone who liked my random sketch of those two swanky Iop's taking a selfie. :) More random stuff coming soon.
  6. Good Idea, who knows you might get lucky :) Thanks Btw! You're welcome Shre :) If you'd like it resized to fit you're avater or signature just let me know. Thank you! And you don't have too wait too long, here's a sketch I did this morning that I later decided to smooth out the lines for. ;> Iop Selfie-stick
  7. Thanks! This is my favorite type of line-work to do, it really highlights the character's features :) Thank you!!! It was a great pleasure to make. :> Can't forget everyone who have been hitting that Like button, I really appreciate it. :) Note: If I've made an artwork for any of you and you'd like it to be resized as a signature or avatar, just send me a private message. Here we go! The final artwork of this batch for "Shre" and it's finished in eight days, which is actually a milestone for me lol. For those who have followed this thread know first hand that it could take weeks, sometimes months for me to get around to finishing an artwork, but it seems like my current approach is actually working. So I'm quite pleased and it seems you guys are too, so I'll continue with this method to see where I could further improve on it. :) Also Ive been wanting to do some 'Random-dofus-art', Sketches and 'Art-unrelated-to-Dofus' for quite a while now, so look out for that during this period. :) Shre's Sram
  8. Just finished the second request of this batch and this one's for Private-Prinny featuring his Ecaflip. :> So far I'm really pleased with this method, I'm able to finish requests a lot faster now. Which leaves room for me to add more details when I get a little better at it in the future :)
  9. Cool, I use Photoshop Cs6 (version 13) for the sketches as well, and If you have illustrator that works well too. But in my opinion its better to use the same program for both sketching and coloring so the process is seamless and there aren't any losses in quality. :> Here's the first colored sketch for Waluigi. Enjoy :) Edit: I'm still experimenting with colors, so you'll see multiple versions that had me torn trying to make a definite choice. ;o
  10. I draw them digitally on my Pc using a Wacom Bamboo tablet, then I color within the sketched lines using the pen tool in Photoshop Cs6 so it can be easily edited. The process could be done with similar quality using a scanned paper sketch, followed by some minor editing to make the background transparent. Yep basically I'm just doing this for fun, it helps me relax after a long day at work. Also to prevent an over-saturation of requests I usually accept batches of 3 to 5, by taking the first few persons to post a picture of their character when I'm open for more requests. So if you're interested just keep an eye on my thread and comments for whenever that time arrives, which is usually random :) Here's the third sketch featuring Shre's cool Sram. :)
  11. I'm excited to start coloring them, I have a few different techniques I wanna try out. :) Here's the second sketch featuring Private-Prinny's Ecaflip. Enjoy :)
  12. Wow! I just can't stop staring at that headband in the first image. (Texture overload!) The gold really compliments it too. Lots of improvement seen here and I generally love your attention to detail in all of these. Keep it up and I'm definitely looking forward to seeing what else you can do. :)
  13. Alright the results are in, and I'd like to say congrats to Waluigi, Private-Prinny and Shre for making it into this batch of requests. :D I'll try my best to get them done as soon as possible. Fortunately, I've already made some progress with Waluigi's Sadida as you can see in the sketch below. I plan on doing all three sketches first then I'll color them all afterward...
  14. Just finished making some updates to Quadro's Artwork featuring his Sacrier. Changed the hat, cape and weapon to match his current setup, and I also added a background. Also earlier today I decided to color one of my older sketches to test out a color scheme. And finally I'm open for requests again, Yay!:) The first 3 to post a picture of their character below will be chosen. The criteria I'll be using to do these artworks are: digitally sketched lines with vector coloring, half-body, weapons/pets can be suggested but may or may not be included (Depending on the pose), anyone can enter besides those from the batch I just finished (Sorry :<), and as usual they are completely free! Good luck. :)
  15. Actually that's an effect that takes place when i flatten an image in Photoshop Cs6, it makes the edges a little sharper. Depending on the image it could be a cool enhancement :) Since I'm new to this style, I'm still working out the kinks and you might see a few variations, but I'll keep trying things out till its generally appealing :) No prob glad you like it :D Here's another artwork, this time for Vanguard. I'm still practicing this sketchy style. The good thing is it cuts the production time down to almost half since I don't have to worry about getting the lines perfect, and I could start coloring directly under a quick, messy sketch then fix the lines later. Which gives me time to add more details and backgrounds, as you can see in the artwork below. My current goal is to master it so I'll be able to do more artworks and requests for you guys at a faster rate, while maintaining quality. :) The sketch.
