I found this tool today at work while and thought I'd mention it, basically it is a gui for creating auto hotkey scripts: https://sourceforge.net/projects/pulovers-macro-creator/?source=typ_redirect I already have an AHK script I use to sign into my accounts, but this would have made it easier.
  4. Very sad to me that Rosal has less people than Solar, though it explains why the sellrooms are so pathetic. I will say that the new Incarnum is a lot better than the old, but once you are done with the tutorial, you're on your own - and it doesn't give you a "class" tutorial, which might be a good idea.

I'm hoping that the International community can get upset about this because they should. I doubt anyone wants frigging dropped spells ffs.   6. "We think the spell system is too complicated." "Let's make it way more complicated!" I really don't understand their logic sometimes. Spell variants is one thing, but having to drop spells? Effects dependent on some elemental meter? Wtf Edit: just have levels over 200 add more spell points and/or give more points pre 100
  7. I still think that making a new game just to test out a new engine is a waste, but we can't change their minds it seems. Porting Dofus should start now or sooner than 4 years from now for sure. They could just have an alpha server where subscribers can test out Dofus a module at a time - start with Incarnum, then add Astrub, then Amakna, etc. Or, just make some other game that doesn't leech subscribers from Dofus and Wakfu to test out Unity.
  8. True, sorry to speak for you. What I meant I guess, was that Dofus 3 might actually end up being a fun game, but if Ankama had asked the community what they wanted, a new game sharing the same name as Dofus is probably not one of those things (why call it Dofus 3 except to create all this confusion?) Just stating that they were going to start working on moving Dofus to a new engine would be awesome and interesting, I love some of the concept art from Dofus 3, but hearing it's gonna just be a new simpler game is (for me) a huge letdown.
  9. Ankama has a history of not listening to the fans and doing whatever they want and that seems to be continuing. No one wants Dofus 3 unless it means the current game in a new engine. And it doesn't really make any kind of sense to make it anyway unless they just don't want people to play Dofus 2? Sure it would be a huge job remaking the game again, but it was their choice to go with Air way back when and the game could really use some technical updates and maybe an art change too.
  10. It would be nice if there were a tool where you input your group level and it tells you the best aread and dungeons to do for xp. Maybe also am option to consider team element composition.
  11. Hmm so it does seem to be the DPI scaling...when I set it to 175% it seems to work correctly. Gah
  12. A lot of the time I like to use the Windows 7+ snap-the-window-to-half-the-screen feature but I noticed that when I try to talk to npcs, there is no text box. Maximizing the window doesn't make it show up, but it does if I talk to the NPC while maximized. I also can't see the options buttons when half screen either. Makes it harder to Netflix and play :(

  16. Trying to do a 4-man team and kinda feel my xel isn't fitting in very well. Currently I have: Xel 200 - Str/Agi Eni 193ish - Int Panda 185ish - Str/Agi (probably switch to Cha) Iop 188ish - Str/Int I have a 191 Enu, 199 Cra, and 187 Elio too, but I'd have to do an account transfer to use them (on the same accounts as above) I like Enus, but concerned my team would not have enough damage then. Cras are ok, but not sure it's what I want. I've never played the Elio, apparently I did a class change at some point and didn't remember I'd done it :( I'm considering: Sram - leaning towards Sac - Before the change I would have picked this, not sure now Feca - Having the eni work less healing people would be nice Elio - Might be cool, but never played one Enu - Good control, but damage... Masq - maybe, the mask changing kindof annoys me though Right now it feels like everyone has a role they are doing except the Xelor, and I could definitely use some mp rape.
  17. Or combine the servers. I've never seen Rosal so dead, and you're lucky to see Frig 3 sets in the sellrooms.

Yeah its a vicious cycle - people use the sellrooms less to sell things because it takes a while, buyers stop checking because nothing is there, people transfer to and from just to buy things and bring them back..Especially with being on steam now, I think it would be easier to keep new players if the economy was healthy. I don't think we really need several different servers anymore either, that was more because the game was laggy as hell before 2.0 with just a medium populated server.

  20. Very happy for this, thank you! One feature from dofusbook was the ability to select one set and see how many other pieces of other sets would work with it. sorry if this already is a feature but I didn't see it.
  21. Not sure if anyone checks these anymore but I've got some Xelor questions as well. I quit not long after the Xelor revamp so I never really got used to the changes. Currently I'm str/agi but I find myself not really using the agility spells very much. I'm considering going str/cha but had several random "I havent played in a long time" questions What is the Xelor role in a group now? Are they still in demand even? How difficult are the newer sets to farm, like the luminescent set? The markets on Rosal seem pretty empty, any tips on server hopping for gear?
  22. The new sac changes sound awful , no more 2 for 1 vit, wtf! It seems like some kind of half sac half masq mishmash.
  23. This seems like a horrible ideal to me. Doing another engine update for Dofus would be great but having a separate game called Dofus 3 is confusing and unnecessary.
